Within the exhibition “Diseño al plato” we developed Fugu, a container designed to measure for one of the dishes of the chef Raquel Pérez. As a game of the senses, this surprise container warns what it can contain without showing it only with the aroma that the dish gives off through the irregular holes in its lid. Its gentle, organic and subtle shapes are reminiscent of a marine being enclosing powerful, iodized and tender flavors. It is a hand-turned piece with its own texture of the material, stoneware with chamotte, claiming the rustic, in contrast with the subtle. A contrast present in both the container and the content.
